DENSO International America, Inc. (DIAM) is participating in the 50th anniversary of the CAR Management Briefing Seminars (MBS) at the Grand Traverse Resort on August 3-6, 2015, speaking during two sessions. MBS delivers thought leadership on the most important issues facing the automotive industry – and the strategies to succeed.
Doug Patton, executive vice president, will be one of six speakers at the Connected and Automated Vehicles: Competition, Rules, and Interesting Times panel from 1 to 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The panelists will discuss the extraordinary progress that has been made toward self-driving vehicles that stands in contrast to the slow, yet steady progress toward vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) connectivity for cooperative, active safety. The group will also explore cybersecurity threats with connectivity.
Patrick Powell,director, Engineering, DIAM, will be one of six speakers to participate in The Car of Tomorrow: Design and Technology session on Wednesday from 1:30 – 4:00 p.m.This session will explore the design and technology forces that will craft the car—and industry—of tomorrow.
