James M. Woroniecki, DENSO Manufacturing Tennessee, Inc. Senior Vice President, Human Resources & Administration  

Specializing in human resources and corporate relations for more than 30 years, James M. Woroniecki was named DENSO Manufacturing Tennessee's Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Administration in June 1998.

Before joining DENSO, Woroniecki was Vice President of Subaru-Isuzu's Human Resources and General Affairs in Lafayette, Indiana, serving that company for 11 years. He became the first president of the Subaru-Isuzu Automotive Foundation.

A native of Michigan, Woroniecki has worked with five major organizations, including two Fortune 300 companies. He is a graduate of Aquinas College, Grand Rapids, Mich., where he received a bachelor's in Business Administration, afterwards adding a master's in Personnel and Labor Relations from St. Francis College in Loretto, Penn.

Woroniecki's professional career also includes service with National Can Corporation, Foster Forbes Glass Division, Marion, Indiana, as Division Manager of Employee Relations; Koppers Company, Inc., Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, as Assistant Manager of Corporate Labor Relations; and Questor Corporation, Inc., Northern Tube Division, Pinconning, Michigan, as Employee Relations Manager.

Now living in Lenior City, Tenn., with his wife, Nancy, Woroniecki continues his community involvement on the board of directors for the Tennessee Chamber of Commerce, the Blount County Chamber of Commerce and the Blount County United Way. He is also on the board of the Tennessee Automotive Manufacturing Association and an executive member of the Society of Human Resources Management, along with serving the Tennessee Alliance for Business and the Wharton School Research Advisory Committee.
