Richard Shiozaki, Sr. Vice President  

As senior vice president, Richard Shiozaki directs the Aftermarket Sales Group, Aftermarket Planning Group, Commercial and Industrial Systems Group and the Corporate Service Group for DENSO Sales California, Inc., an affiliate of one of the world's largest automotive component suppliers, DENSO Corporation.

Shiozaki joined DENSO Sales California in 1986 as a member of the Marketing Department responsible for technical publications. In 1988, he moved to the Toyota Sales department and became manager in 1995 and responsible to oversee OES customers. In 2000 he was promoted to senior manager and received additional duties for Sales Planning for the company. In 2001, he was assigned to work with Toyota Motor Corporation and other Japanese suppliers on the development and expansion of the Advantex project to introduce OEM suppliers to the aftermarket. After completing his assignment, Shiozaki was assigned responsibilities for Aftermarket Sales and Customer Service. He was appointed Vice President of the Aftermarket Sales Group and Corporate Service Group in 2004. Shiozaki was appointed his current responsibilities and Senior Vice President in 2005.

Shiozaki is involved in the activities in the automotive aftermarket as a member of Automotive Sales Council and Board member of Automotive Aftermarket Supplier Association (AASA). Shiozaki also serves on the DENSO North American Foundation Board, the Foundation is dedicated to the advancement of higher education in engineering and related business programs through grant making to colleges and universities throughout North America. Shiozaki is also on the College of Engineering Dean's Advisory Board of California State University, Long Beach.

A native Californian, Shiozaki graduated with a bachelor's degree in Marketing from California State University, Los Angeles, in 1982.
