DENSO Announces Expanded Coverage 
for R5.0 Heavy Duty Starter 

Now Offering Applications for Class 8 Engines, Volvo, Cummins and Detroit Diesel


TAMPA, Fla. - DENSO Sales California today announced that it is offering expanded coverage for its R5.0 Heavy Duty starter.  The announcement was made at the Technology and Maintenance Council (TMC) Show in Tampa, Fla.  The expanded coverage includes three new part numbers for Class 8 engines, Volvo, Cummins and Detroit Diesel trucks.  With these new applications, DENSO now offers full-line coverage of all heavy duty engines.

The 12V 5.0 Offset Gear Reduction Starter is designed specifically for use on heavy duty vehicles and equipment with 10-to-16-liter diesel engines.

DENSO's R5.0 Offset Gear Reduction Starter specifications include:
