DENSO earns John Deere Partner-level Supplier Award

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – DENSO International America, Inc. (DIAM) has earned recognition as a Partner-level supplier in John Deere’s Achieving Excellence Program for 2011 – Deere & Company’s highest supplier rating. DIAM accepted the award at the annual John Deere ‘Achieving Excellence’ awards banquet on Feb. 15, at the River Center in Davenport, Iowa.

“We’re honored to receive John Deere’s Partner-level rating for 2011,” said Ron Abbott, director of Heavy Duty Sales at DENSO International America. “This award really demonstrates the dedication and commitment to quality and customer service that we aim to provide to all our customers.”

Deere & Company assessed suppliers based on performance in delivery, quality, wavelength, technical support and cost management for fiscal year 2011. This is DENSO’s second Partner-level supplier award having also received the honor in 2006.

DENSO International America supplies Deere globally with common rail fuel systems, in-line fuel pumps, starters, alternators, engine oil coolers, AC compressors, engine cooling modules, radiators and washer tanks.

DENSO will maintain Partner-level status until the next annual review in November 2012.
