DENSO developed a compact air conditioning unit that is 20 percent smaller, 12 percent lighter and consumes 14 percent less power than conventional units. DENSO also recently launched a new air conditioning system for passenger cars that uses ejector technology that helps reduce the compressor's power consumption to almost 25 percent, compared to conventional vehicle air conditioning systems. This helps to improve fuel economy while running the A/C.
