Vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-infrastructure technology

DENSO has been working on V2X technology since 2003, and one of our main focuses is on dedicated short range communications (DSRC) devices. Data exchanges with other vehicle DSRC transceivers and roadside "hotspots" can help reduce the likelihood of collisions.

In addition to incorporating DSRC devices inside new vehicles, DENSO is exploring dealer install and aftermarket equipment options. DENSO is helping to improve communication between vehicles and intelligent transportation management systems to cope with future economy and ecology requirements.
