Putting one foot in front of the other

DENSO Sales California (DSCA) - On Saturday, May 5, 20 DSCA associates donated a few hours of their free time for a good cause.

May 5 was the day of AIDS Walk of Greater Long Beach in California. The annual walk raises funds for community-based services that provide care to AIDS patients and their caregivers. This year, DENSO’s team raised $2,420 in donations—a donation which DSCA matched—bringing DENSO’s total donation to nearly $5,000.

Warranty Systems Specialist Adriana Reynolds described why she joined this year’s walk and why she plans to join next year’s event.

“I believe in Ghandi’s philosophy that ‘the best way to find your self is to lose yourself in the service of others,’” she said. “I so appreciate DENSO’s willingness to support the community and community services through time and money.”
