Up, up and away  

DENSO Manufacturing Michigan (DMMI) - DMMI once again served as a major sponsor of Battle Creek, Mich.’s Team U.S. Nationals and Air Show. This annual event, drawing an average of 800,000 attendees, features air teams including the United States Air Force Thunderbirds and the Canadian Forces Snowbirds, hot air balloons from all over the world, entertainment and food.

“We feel it is important to continue to support local events in the community we call home,” said DMMI’s Jim Burkheimer, superintendent, Corporate Communications. “And we believe this type of activity helps us contribute to a better society, which is the DENSO mission.”

DMMI’s event sponsorship (which included the DENSO hot air balloon) also helps elevate DENSO’s name recognition, leading to enhanced recruiting opportunities.
