Chang Ning, Shanghai, China - Straddling the Huangpu River, Shanghai is China's busiest port and most important industrial and commercial center. And now it is home to DENSO Corporation's newest office. On April 1, DENSO Corporation opened a new office in Chang Ning, Shanghai, China.

"The Chinese automotive market is expected to grow quickly, and many automakers have invested in China, especially in the east China and the south China," said Masayuki Beppu, Shanghai office president and former senior project manager of the Sales Planning Department of DENSO Corporation.

Beppu continued,"Automakers are trying to raise local content. In the Shanghai office, DENSO will collect information and promote its businesses including investigation on establishing new operations for manufacture, sales and export to quickly meet customer needs."

In addition, the Shanghai office provides repair and maintenance services for bus air conditioners, injection pump parts and plugs.

This is the fifth DENSO office to open in China. DENSO also has offices in Beijing, Guangzhou, Tianjin and Hong Kong, and five manufacturing facilities in Shandong, Tianjin and Chong Qing.
