DENSO International America (DIAM) - DENSO companies, affiliates and joint ventures in North America keep earning recognition for their commitment to quality.

At the North American International Auto Show at Cobo Hall in Detroit, General Motors (GM) recognized suppliers for helping it maintain momentum during a difficult year. GM recognized DENSO specifically for our focus on quality.

"We are here today to thank all of you for helping us," said Bo Andersson, vice president for Worldwide Purchasing, Production Control & Logistics, GM. "In my opinion, this is something we need to do more often, because you play such an important role in creating all of these wonderful products."

Senior Executive Vice President Kengo Himeno, Customer Support Division, DIAM, was on hand to receive the award on behalf of DENSO companies.

"We would like to thank all DENSO affiliates that supply parts to GM, because it is your hard work that earned this award," said Himeno. "I also encourage all DENSO affiliates to continue your strong activities toward continuous improvement of quality, so we can maintain and increase our business with GM."
