TBDN TENNESSEE COMPANY - "Effectiveness of productivity improvement techniques, practices and processes." That was the criteria used to select the winners of the Governor's Manufacturing Excellence Awards in Jackson.

And TBDN TENNESSEE COMPANY took the First Place award for manufacturers with 250 - 500 employees.

"Our manufacturing sector is responsible for one-fifth of all Tennessee jobs," said Tennessee Gov. Don Sundquist during the November award ceremony. "We want to recognize the hard work and dedication of our state's manufacturers and honor those working to improve productivity."

"I was honored to accept the award on behalf of the company and all our associates," said TBDN TENNESSEE COMPANY President Martin Suzuki. "It is their continuous effort and hard work that makes recognition like Governor's Manufacturing Excellence award possible."
