DENSO
Sales California (DSCA) - DSCA recently was awarded
Best New Product Packaging Design at the 2001 Automotive Aftermarket
Product Expo (AAPEX).
"Because DENSO primarily is an original equipment supplier,
we needed to distinctly communicate through innovative, impactful
packaging that our products are now available as aftermarket
parts," Peter Klotz, vice president of DSCA's Aftermarket
Group, explained. "We believe we have accomplished that."
The award-winning packaging design featured a "blueprint"
schematic developed to illustrate each product's barrier-breaking
technology. Deep blue hues showcased product features while
callout boxes explained each product's benefits.
In addition to the AAPEX packaging award, DENSO also won
the following awards from the Auto International Association
during the show:
- Best New Packaging of an Import Product - DENSO First
Time Fit Starters and Alternators
- Best New Print Catalog for an Import Line - DENSO First
Time Fit Starters and Alternators
- Best Advertising of an Import Product Trade Print/Direct
Mail - DENSO First Time Fit Oxygen Sensor Ad
