SHIPLEY, England — One hundred years of business is something to crow about. DENSO Marston celebrated its centennial over the summer.
More than 2,000 people attended the July event, including Koichi Fukaya, president and CEO of DENSO Corporation, the Lord Mayor of Bradford Irene Ellison-Wood, and Christopher Leslie, a member of Parliament for Shipley.
We are proud of this signifi cant achievement—100 years of manufacturing,” said Fumiaki Nagata, managing director of DENSO Marston, a DENSO group company. “DENSO Marston is still growing, and we believe the company has a bright future for its second century of operation.”
DENSO Marston’s 1,100 employees manufacture engine-cooling systems for most of the major manufacturers in the automotive, truck, tractor and electric power generation industries throughout the U.K., Europe and America.
DENSO Marston was originally a metal-working business established by Percy Haggas in Grace St. Leeds in 1904. In 1989, the company was acquired by DENSO Corporation.
