Guelph, Ontario – DENSO Manufacturing Canada, Inc. (DMCN) has set another safety record: five years with no lost-time injury among its 270 associates at the Mississauga sales office and the Guelph manufacturing plant. This translates to more than 3 million hours, without any lost-time injury.

Ken Nagao, president of DMCN, proudly announced this significant milestone. "Thanks to combined associate efforts to attain the goal of ‘Zero Loss Time Injury’ through daily work practice activities designed to heighten safety awareness, we were able to accomplish this five-year milestone. Thank you very much for your contributions in building and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment," he said.

In recognition of this accomplishment, DMCN organized a safety appreciation luncheon for all its associates, and provided each associate with a jacket commemorating this special year milestone.
