On the Move in Iowa

Cedar Falls Service Center — DENSO’s Cedar Falls Service Center is on the move — to a new facility and a new location. A new 36,000-square-foot sales, engineering and service center is being constructed in Waterloo, Iowa to house the growing business.

“At 15,200 square feet, the current building is at full capacity,” said Terry Helgesen, senior vice president. “With our business expanding, we have an opportunity to move to a larger facility so that we can provide improved services for our customers, including Deere & Co.”

“We are delighted by these plans for expansion,“ said David Morrow, senior manager, Cedar Falls Operations. “This new facility can help us better service our customers and I know our associates and customers will find this an outstanding place in which to work.”

The new center will house engineering support for diesel fuel injection systems for DENSO customers, sales and quality personnel as well as substantial warehouse facilities. The facility is expected to be fully operational by November 2004.
