Saka replaces Atsumi at DENSO Mexico

DENSO Mexico—Yoshihiro Saka assumed the position of president of DENSO Mexico, S.A. de C.V. (DNMX) on April 1, replacing Katsuhito Atsumi. Saka will direct the company’s operations in Apodaca and Guadalupe City, both in the State of Nuevo León. DNMX employs more than 3,000 associates and produces instrument clusters, A/C panels, fuel senders, radiators, cruise control and air fuel modules, wiper speed sensors and valves.

President Saka has 25 years of extensive manufacturing experience with DENSO. In his previous assignment, Saka served as president of DENSO Haryana Pvt. Ltd. (DNHA) in Haryana, India, where approximately 400 associates manufacture fuel pumps, injectors, engine ECUs and idle speed control valves.

Saka began his career at DENSO in the Air Conditioning Manufacturing Department. He also spent time in the Engine Electrical Systems Manufacturing Department. In 1982, he moved to the Injection Manufacturing Department where he worked until January 2002. Saka was appointed president of DNHA in May 2002. He earned a Bachelor of Mechanics degree from Keio University in Yokohama, Kanagawa prefecture, Japan.
